Position: Network Engineer

Office Location: San Jose, CA

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for ensuring that the network has been customized to satisfy a customer‛s wants and needs.
  • Responsible for adding programs, software and hardware that a company might need while working.
  • Keeps a keen eye on the network performances.
  • Solves any problems that arise within the network such as crashing.
  • Develop and install data retrieval system these are the emergency systems.
  • Maintain the emergency systems.
  • Record problems that computer users face, and how best to solve the problem for other future references.
  • Control access to the network.
  • Install security programs to prevent unauthorized access to privileged data and information.
  • Updating security programs and frequent changing of passwords.
  • Customize networks to meet client‛s needs.

Position: Sales Account Manager

Office Location: San Jose, CA

Responsibilities Include:

  • Proactively engage end-user customers and vendors to increase collaboration and customer penetration and expansion.
  • Present the AdvanTel Networks story to targeted customers face-to-face.
  • Preparation prior to customer meetings as well as follow up after the meetings with customers and managers.
  • Find short term and long-term sales opportunities via onsite discussions, marketing programs and telemarketing.
  • Possess and be able to expand extensive knowledge about vendor partnerships and AdvanTel Networks solutions and be able to communicate these to the customers.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers, Vendors, and Internal Resources to ensure open communications and delivery of the contracted solutions to our customers.
  • Maintain sales certifications as outlined by vendors.
  • Meet /engage with core vendors on a regular basis.
  • Strategize and fully utilize the support team within the region.
  • Understand and abide by all security and operational policies.
  • High product expectation (versus that of an Account Executive)

 

Skills and Specifications

  • A minimum of 2 consecutive years of overachieving sales goal targets
  • 3+ years of experience specifically in selling, hardware, software and services
  • 7+ years of proven sales experience excellent sales skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present in a group setting.
  • Project a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions.
  • Good knowledge of our technology and the industry channel dynamics.
  • Possess a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow up skills.
  • Prefer a strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Internet.

Position: Sales Director

Office Location: Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, CA

The Sales Director will manage our San Jose sales team, whose responsibility is to sell AdvanTel services to prospects and customers.

The overall objective is to assist AdvanTel in exceeding revenue goals and develop a strategic sales direction for Southern California. This position requires a positive attitude, hands-on approach and is team-oriented.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management and ownership of sales planning, performance metrics, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Responsible for management and strategic development of the team.
  • Lead and develop strategic direction while coaching and motivating Sales team to reach sales goals and corporate revenue growth.
  • Develops sales and support strategies, techniques, and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment.
  • Successfully motivate Account Executives to sell and support accounts aggressively.
  • Conduct performance reviews and organize all sales training

 

Skills and Specifications

  • At least 10 years of Telecommunications and Management experience of Telecom Sales team.
  • Bachelor‛s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications products and services.
  • Strong supervisory, employee relations, and employee development skills. Demonstrated ability to lead others in the achievement of business goals.
  • Ability to motivate others and inspire high performance, loyalty, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully implement strategies
  • Strong team work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
