Cellular Telephone Helpdesk Administrator

This is hands-on opportunity to support day-to-day corporate cellular telephone administration and troubleshooting. Technical knowledge and skill are essential for the job but so are people skills, personality and organization.

Duties include

  • Manage all Helpdesk tickets to closure including ‘User Acceptance’
  • Perform new user setup
  • Administration of plans and contracts
  • Management of arriving and departing employee plans
  • Updating databases

Requirements

  • BS in related field or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 1 year experience supporting IT in a corporate environment

Network engineer

A network engineer is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance and support of converged network solutions. He/she is responsible for operating as a liaison between the sales account manager and the client. As such, he/she is responsible for understanding and effectively communicating and providing for the needs of the client.

Duties include

  • Installing and maintaining server hardware and software
  • Compiling network diagrams
  • Supplementing sales meetings with technical knowledge
  • Allocating network resources
  • Ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient use of servers
  • Isolating and resolving faults
  • Direct customer interaction for installation and troubleshooting
  • Providing network design solutions to business and management issues

Requirements

  • Four year technical degree
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Account manager

An account manager has the responsibility of initiating, developing and maintaining relationships with clients. He/She must become familiar with the organization’s range of products to provide tailored solutions to clients of all levels.

Duties include

  • Identify potential opportunities and proactively generate new business revenue
  • Leading efforts to build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers at all levels
  • Understanding and providing for clients’ S-T and L-T needs
  • Supplying customers with timely product, pricing or company information
  • Responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that arise in the sales/customer relationship

  • Excellent communication skills, especially in the areas of negotiation and presentation
  • Ability to work appropriate hours to complete tasks and achieve goals, and support required travel

Sales engineer

A Sales engineer provides pre-sale support to our sales organization. Primarily focused on the Avaya product line from Legacy TDM to advanced IP, messaging and emerging applications; sizes ranging from SMB to Enterprise. The sales engineer must be able to gather the necessary details, creatively design solutions for the customer, configure and price those solutions and prepare and present presentations to the customer. The Sales Engineer must also be able to configure and price their solution using the Avaya design tools.

Duties include

  • Identify and design solutions to meet customer requisites
  • Configure solutions using the current Avaya Configuration and other design tools
  • Meet with potential and existing customers to gather information and present the proposed solutions
  • Maintain current certifications in converged technology and messaging design
  • Continue to advance knowledge through training as technology advances
  • Must be able to travel within Northern California up to 75% of the time
  • Prepare for demonstrations of product
  • Maintain demo equipment inventory and Executive Briefing Center
  • Assist with RFPs when needed
